App Creators — Grades 6+
for students in grades 6-12
App Creators introduces students to the world of app development through hands-on design, coding, and testing. Campers will go through the full process of creating a real working app from planning the idea and designing the interface to writing the code and refining the final product. Students will leave camp with a real understanding of how apps are made and something they can actually show off to their friends and family. No prior experience is required, just come ready to create!
Students will:
- Design and build a working app
- Learn beginner programming concepts and logic
- Create simple user interfaces and layouts
- Test, debug, and improve their app through iteration
