Code & Control: Python Robotics — Grades 6-9

Grade 6 students and up

Interested in enhancing your coding experience?

Code & Control: Python Robotics is an advanced coding and robotics camp designed for students who already have introductory coding experience and are ready to work with professional-grade tools and real robotics hardware. Using Arduino-based robotics vehicles, students will write and refine Python code to control motors, sensors, and robot behavior while exploring how software and hardware come together in integrated systems. This camp is the perfect next step for students who have already learned the basics and are ready to take their skills to a whole new level.

Students will:

  • Apply Python programming concepts to robotics hardware
  • Write and debug code to control motors, sensors, and behaviors
  • Learn how Python interfaces with Arduino-based systems
  • Solve complex, multi-step challenges through testing and iteration
  • Eligibility: Grades 6+ with introductory coding experience.

When: July 13 - July 17, 9 AM - 4:00 PM;  Permission slip and payment completed on or before July 13.

Camp Cost*: $419.95.  The online registration process requires payment to complete the process.  If this presents a challenge, please contact us.  *Need-based scholarships and work grants are available, allowing no student to be left behind.
