Intro to Engineering Challenge — Grades 7+
Intro to Engineering introduces students to the engineering design process through fast-paced, hands-on challenges. At the start of the week, students are given an engineering challenge and work in teams to design, build, test, and improve their solution. By Friday afternoon, teams will compete and demonstrate their final designs.
Students will:
- Learn the engineering design process: plan, build, test, and iterate
- Work in teams to solve real-world engineering challenges
- Use tools, materials, and data to improve their designs
- Compete and demonstrate their solutions at the end of the week
- Students will take home their XRP (Experiential Robotics Platform) robot a the end of camp.
