LEGO Robot Engineers — Grades 5-8
LEGO Robot Engineers is a beginner-friendly week-long camp that introduces students to the fundamentals of robotics through hands-on LEGO building and coding challenges. Campers will explore how robots move, sense, and respond to the world around them while learning the basics of engineering design and creative problem solving. Students will work in teams to take on fun challenges that push their curiosity and creativity. No prior robotics or coding experience is needed, just show up ready to build!
Students will:
- Build and program LEGO robots
- Learn how motors and sensors work
- Explore basic engineering and coding concepts
- Practice teamwork, problem-solving, and creative thinking
Who: We recommend this level for students who have little to no LEGO robotics experience. It is a great first step for learning how to build with LEGO parts, follow simple build instructions, and start programming basic movement and actions. Students will practice teamwork, problem-solving, and the engineering design process in a supportive environment.
Camp Cost*: $419.95. The online registration process requires payment to complete the process. If this presents a challenge, please contact us. *Need-based scholarships and work grants are available, allowing no student to be left behind. Optional before/after care information is also available during the registration process.
